In today's Richmond Times Dispatch, Carol Hazzard discusses a lot of positive signs in the Richmond Housing Market.
Prices are no longer dropping in the stronger areas, rather they have stabalized or increased in many; all indicators are leading to the conclusion that we are finally witnessing a recovery of our housing market.
We are not in the clear yet, as concerns of the national economy bring some level of disbelief, but we are cautiously optimistic things are better than they have been for a long time and they are continuing to get better each day.
"The Central Virginia housing market seems to have weathered the downturn and is on a path toward sustainable recovery and a return to a more normal market," according to an analysis of the Central Virginia housing market by George Mason University Center for Regional Analysis.
