Spring Market in Richmond...WOOHOO!

Amazing how the weather can influence the real estate market?!?! With Spring hitting early this year, so has the real estate pickup...notoriously Spring time brings an uptick in real estate sales and this year has been no different.

"Data from the first two months of this year support this Spring weather theory...The number of houses sold in the Richmond area in January and February totaled 1,987, up 9.9% from the same period a year earlier, according to the Richmond Association of Realtors."

"The number of Pending sales, a sign of futre activity, is up 23.9% from a year ago, the group said."

With interest rates remaining at historic lows around 4% and depressed property values, what a great time to buy!!!!!!
